Celebrating Hope: Independence Eve at the Museum of Tolerance

Celebrating Hope: Independence Eve at the Museum of Tolerance

This meaningful gathering brought together hundreds of people in a powerful moment of remembrance and celebration.

The MOTJ had the honor of welcoming Federation CJA – The Jewish Federation of Montreal, and Federation UJA – The Jewish Federation of Greater Toronto, alongside a delegation of 250 youth, including 200 participants from Canada who had just taken part in the March of the Living ceremony at Auschwitz.

The event served as a transition from Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) to Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day), held at the Gordon and Leslie Diamond Family Amphitheater. These young participants honored the memory of the past while celebrating the resilience and spirit of Israel’s future, standing united in hope and pride.
